Enjoy a ride on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway – those familiar with the classic ‘Railway Children’ film are sure to recognise the surrounding scenery – before visiting the renowned Wensleydale Creamery on our excursion to Hawes. Finishing the tour in style with a three-course meal aboard the Graceful Sawn, the hotel’s own boat and the UK’s only electric powered dining canal boat, soak up the scenery of the Yorkshire Dales with this unique dining experience.

4 Day Itinerary

Day 1:

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to the award-winning Hotel Rendezvous on the waterside just outside Skipton for a three-night stay.

Included meals: Dinner

Day 2:Brontë Country, Haworth and Steam Nostalgia

A fun-filled day takes us into Brontë Country, visiting the informative Brontë Parsonage Museum in charming Haworth, with its historic, cobbled street and vintage shops.

Our day of nostalgia then continues with a ride on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway through stunning countryside; this was also the setting for the classic film ‘The Railway Children’.

Day 3:The Yorkshire Dales and Wensleydale Creamery

Our exhilarating excursion north into the Yorkshire Dales takes us through Settle, then high into the Pennines. Spot the famous Ribblehead Viaduct before we reach Hawes in Upper Wensleydale, where we visit the renowned Wensleydale Creamery.

Back at the Hotel Rendezvous, our final evening is spent dining on Graceful Swan, the hotel’s very own house boat. With a sumptuous interior and antique fixtures, enjoy a three-course meal as the countryside glides by.
